Downtown OverviewOur team specializes in Long Beach, Orange County and the Southbay, although we are happy to help you with any property located in greater Southern California. Included here is information on Long Beach and surrounding cities.

Long Beach, at nearly 100 square miles, is home to more than 450,000 people, making it the 5th largest city in the state of California. The temperature averages 74 degrees Fahrenheit year round with about 345 average days of sunshine. Long Beach is bordered by 5 1/2 miles of clean, sandy beaches that offer many recreation opportunities such as walking, running, biking or roller blading on the fully paved bike path that spans the length of the beach from Downtown to Belmont Shore.

Downtown has recently experienced a renaissance. Pine Avenue has become a great urban center. By day, the alluring aroma of fresh-brewed cappuccino combines with a feeling of urban energy and business excitement. Pedestrian-friendly Pine Avenue has maintained its rich history as landmark art deco buildings have been reborn, becoming home to unique urban residences, studio lofts, outdoor cafes, outstanding restaurants, trendy nightclubs, art galleries and shops. By night, nightclubs are plentiful with something for every taste including jazz, blues, disco and pop.

Pine AvenueLong Beach's emerging arts community has made its home in the East Village, formally the East Village Arts District. Art shops and trendy live/work spaces inhabit the area, creating an eclectic mix of popular retreats for resident artists and visitors alike.

Home to the majority of Downtown residents, the North Pine District offers an alternative residential style. In close proximity to Pine Avenue, visitors and residents alike can enjoy the convenience of the newly opened CityPlace, an open-air urban retail center featuring stores such as Nordstrom Rack, Ross, Walmart, Anna's Linens and much more.
